Information and Resources for an Apprenticeship or Traineeship Pathway Parents and close family members are known to be the biggest influence on young people's career decision making. You can actively support another person in their career decisions and ongoing journey. Information for Parents

The Parents and Guardian’s Guide for School Leavers summarises the resources and information available to help you explore all the education, training, and work options available to your child. The guide can be downloaded as a PDF

Why Women in Trades Matter

It’s a common misconception that apprenticeships and traineeships are “trades only” or “male only” study paths. In the current day and age, women working in trades matter; they bring value to an organisation and have the potential to change the future of the workforce.

Free TAFE NSW Parent and Caregiver Resource Guide A new guide has been developed for parents and/or caregivers to help transition their child into TAFE NSW. Jam packed with all the information that you need to know, the guide can be accessed via the dedicated Parent and/or Caregiver webpage: https://www.tafensw.edu.au/parents-caregivers

The Careers Department: The Careers Department is excited to announce that parents can now access the platform. Students can invite their parents or guardians from their own account, allowing them to view their career plans, submitted work and access resources. Living on Campus

If you are heading to uni next year then it is highly likely that you have been considering your accommodation options. Residential colleges and halls of residence are the most popular options, and ones which are commonly associated with the university experience.

Most students choose to live at colleges and halls of residence because they provide a great opportunity to live close to (or on) campus, become totally immersed in university life and make lifelong friends. https://www.gooduniversitiesguide.com.au/education-blogs/student-life/living-on-campus
