SENIOR SCHOOL NEWS 

Studying in the school ‘holidays’ is NOT easy! But I am happy to report that our Unit 3-4 students and all the class of 2021, have put in a mammoth effort over the past three weeks, leading up to their final weeks at KSC and, the all-important exams. Ms Hunter & I could not be prouder of the commitment and effort of those students who used their break time to put themselves in the best position possible for revision and exam preparation. Sitting still and using your mind and your pens for up to 3 hours and 15 minutes (Think; the GAT and English on the 27th October), does indeed take practice and our students are definitely on the right track to success. 

I would also like to thank the VCE teachers who went above and beyond these holidays to ensure our students have access to high quality materials, practice exams and expert marking services to help supplement our teaching at KSC. Together we are a great team!

But…there is still a little way to go: with a great deal of effort, focus and intensity for students, teachers, parents and friends and I urge you to KEEP GOING! 😊 

Ms Hunter & Ms Creaser with the creative help of the wonderful Mrs Muldoon, decorated the lockers and the STEAM building for the class of 2021 upon their return this term, and it was very well received. There has been such a great feeling in the Senior School this term, as we countdown to the end and celebrate just a little where we can.

Our final weeks at KSC for the Class of 2021:

Term 4 Week 2:

• Music performance exams Wednesday 13th October – good luck to our two candidates!
• Thursday 14th – final assembly for 2021 Year 12’s including speeches from current and incumbent School Captains.
• Monday 18th October – ‘Op-shop’ dress up day for Year 12s and teachers
• Tuesday 19th  – Last day for VCAL classes (Year 12s) – ‘Dress up through the Decades’
• Wednesday 20th October – Last day of VCE classes (Year 12s)
• Thursday 21st October – Celebration morning. Dancing outside with morning tea in Senior School.

Week 3: 

VCAA Exam period: October 27th to 17th November.
