REMINDERS FROM THE SCHOOL OFFICE

As we commence a new school year, we would like to remind parents of the following school procedures and information:

ABSENCES FROM SCHOOL

When advising the school of an absence, please do not email the teacher in the morning. All absences must be reported to the school office on 9597 6300 by 9.30 am. If you know that your child will be absent for an extended period, please notify us in advance. 

Tag On System for Preps/ new students

We will endeavour to send out Tag on information to families in the next couple of weeks.

2023 School Fees

Invoices for school fees will be issued in February. For those who are eligible for concessional fees (health care card holders), these forms need to be completed as soon as possible. We encourage all eligible families to apply:

LATE ARRIVALS & EARLY DEPARTURES

All late arrivals (after 8.50 am) and early departures must be signed in/ out of school by parents or guardians.

LATE FOR PICK UP

Please contact the office if you are running late to pick up your child. Students are brought into the school office at 3.40 pm after which there is no teacher supervision on the playground. 

MEDICATION

If your child needs prescribed medication during school hours, parents are required to complete a medical instructions form available at the school office. Please note we are unable to administer paracetamol or ibuprofen to students. 

LOST PROPERTY

The lost property box is located in the office sick bay. Please label your child’s items of uniform, lunchboxes, drink bottles etc. Tracing ownership is impossible when articles are not clearly labelled. 

CLASS LISTS

Class/parent contact lists are currently being organised. If you DO NOT want to be included in this list please email office@sjmalvern.catholic.edu.au asap.
