Win more listings with less effort and at the lowest cost!

Last week, First National announced a ground-breaking deal with REA that gives you access to the industry’s only complete real estate solution, at an unbeatable discount that no competitor can access.

Launched during a 45-minute webinar with the REA support team, our agents were introduced to Connect, which helps you to:

  1. Attract
  2. Nurture
  3. Convert
  4. Market
  5. Sell or Lease

Connect unites the industry’s leading technologies, at last delivering an end-to-end digital prospecting solution where all products talk to each other, making implementation seamless and giving you prominence over competitors on REA.

Tested and proven by First National Real Estate offices like FN Burton Groves (Tea Tree Gully, SA) and FN Latrobe (Traralgon, Vic), don’t miss your chance to:

  • Be 44% more visible on REA (and receive double the number of leads)
  • Access millions of sold and on-market listings to win a vendor’s confidence and give better CMAs
  • Tap into the most comprehensive supply and demand data
  • Grab hold of customisable First National branded pre-listing, listing submissions (delivered on any device)
  • Keep the interest of sellers by sending updates on properties in your area
  • Pitch for business with absolute confidence
  • Make it easy for customers to sign agency agreements digitally

Strengthening your support

At head office, our team is here to support everyone in the network, whether sales agents, property managers, administrators or business owners.

That’s why it’s important we work together, understand the network’s strategy, and that we’re equipped to guide each and every one of you.

By getting together for a training day with former Australian Rules footballer and coach, Simon Madden, our team focused on the ingredients needed to achieve peak performance and keep delivering you our best.

Mentor program leads to new commercial office

FN Commercial provides the resources you need to start a commercial division or stand-alone FN Commercial office, and there’s big money to be made.

Supported by the network’s Mentorship Program and the Commercial Property Desk, FN Foster-Tuncurry (NSW) recently decided to begin operating under the FN Commercial brand.

When Darren Peeters and Broc Buderus took over the business in November last year, the agency already had a decent sized commercial rent roll and was dabbling in commercial sales. Bringing Belinda Holmes onboard to grow the commercial side of the business, the team took immediate advantage of the Mentorship Program, which leverages Frank Tierney’s lifetime of industry experience.

Belinda and Broc say that from their initial meeting with Frank, procedural and legal matters were identified that were not being managed effectively. Together they rectified everything and have now ‘hit the ground running’.

‘The mentorship program and resources available to us have led to a complete overhaul of our systems and the results speak for themselves, with various managements and further opportunities since gained’, says Belinda.

‘A big thanks to Frank and the FN Commercial team. We look forward to working and growing together.’

If you’re thinking about starting a commercial division, stop thinking. Call Frank Tierney on 0418 502 040 to find out how you can trial FN Commercial’s services before taking the leap.

Two new Business Growth Managers

We’re pleased to introduce two new BGMs to First National Real Estate – Bridget Dempsey (NSW) and Trent Godfrey (SA/NT). Bridget and Trent each bring excellent industry experience to their roles and are in the process of introducing themselves to the offices they manage in both states. Please make Bridget and Trent feel very welcome.

Coming up roses

During the pandemic the opportunity to effect a long-overdue refresh of head office’s presentation - while staff were working remotely - was taken.

With the gardens in front of our Hoddle Street premises occasionally subject to vandalisation and anti-social activities, a planting and security strategy evolved.

Today our garden beds show a full flush of beautiful roses, our previous issues have gone away, and we are presenting our HQ exactly as we would advise our clients who are selling homes to do.

Over 65-year-olds increase visits to First National

The proportion of the over-65 population in the workforce has increased rapidly and this is expected to continue.

As an increasingly important part of the production side of the economy, they spend as much per capita on commodities than younger adults and more on some.

Interestingly, we’ve observed this macro population trend through www.firstnational.com.au where our visits from those who are 65+ have increased by 3% to 12.5% over the past 3 years. Visits from mobiles and tablets have jumped 7% to 68% over the same period.

Keep in mind that this older cohort are more likely to buy investment property using superannuation and investments as they live and work into their 70s and 80s.
