Year 12 - Sunset Boulevard

The Year 12's this term are studying ‘Sunset Boulevard’ for their first assessment. This week we went to ACMI for a screening of the film in their cinema, followed by a one-hour expert lecture on context, film and themes. 

Students have been stepping into the world of the 1920s and 1950s and will be creating a piece inspired by the themes of the film in the coming weeks! 

Medieval Europe

This term in Humanities, Year 08 students are studying Medieval Europe. Today the students participated in a ‘Medieval Speed Dating’ game to understand different social classes that existed during the time. Of course, we couldn’t forget some romantic ballads to set the mood….
