Captain's Corner

Captain's Corner

Welcome to the Captain’s Corner, with Hamish and Cleo!

In the past two weeks, we have had many successful events such as District Swimming and Tennis.

Well done to the District Swimming Team for bringing home some silverware and breaking some Dendy records! (See the Sport’s Captain’s section for more!)

Well done to the District Tennis Team for an amazing effort and some great wins!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped on Shrove Tuesday, the pancakes were delicious!

We had a great mass on Ash Wednesday, thank you Monsignor!

Last week, Year 6 presented our assembly, where we went through what we have learned so far this term and we also received our Captaincy badges, which was very exciting!

Years 5 and 6 have had a very busy week with an incursion and an excursion.

On Monday, there was a very important incursion, it was about peer pressure and vandalism, we all learnt so much! It was a great experience.

Then on Wednesday, we had an amazing experience…WE WENT TO HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD! It was so much fun and a great time! We learnt so much!

Thank you Mrs Moore!

For a more in-depth review please check out the Years 5 & 6 reviews on the play!

Coming up next week, we have an Open Day on Monday, tell your friends and feel free to come along! All the Year 6 captains will be around the school with lots of information about life at St Joseph’s.

That’s the Captain's Corner for this week!
