The year 7 and 8s took to the cricket field on Wednesday 5th of April playing against Brentwood and Wellington. We played a nail-biting game against welling, Pranshu making 17, Ruhaan making 14, Henry, Ruhaan and Alex taking wickets and Kiaan taking a catch. Unfortunately, we lost by 1 run against Wellington. The game against Brentwood was tough we had to chase 86 runs, Henry made 26, Pranshu made 10 we ended up on 66 runs resulting in a loss.
All players played well, encouraged each other and continued to persevere throughout each game.

YEAR 7&8 GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL
Our year 7 and 8 Girls' Volleyball team played at the State Volleyball Centre on Wednesday 5/4 in some tight-fought games. They played three games against Brentwood, Wheelers Hill and Wellington, winning two of the three games and progressing to the final.
In the final, the girls played an incredibly tight game against Brentwood, winning the first set, Brentwood taking the second and unfortunately losing the tiebreaker set 15-11. The girls all showed excellent sportsmanship, progressively improving their skills and teamwork throughout the day. A fantastic effort by all girls.
