Mothers Day Stall K-10 still requires small donations of gifts valued at $5 and donations will be received until Wednesday, 10 May. Gifts do not have to be wrapped although helpful if you can in clear cellophane. See attached poster for suggested gift ideas. Donations for the stall can be taken to the school office. Payment for your child’s Mothers Day Gift can be made on Compass.
Allison is still looking for Parent Volunteers to help wrap gifts Monday, 8 until Wednesday 10 May if you can assist could you please call Allison on 0407 490 335.
Moree On A Plate Saturday, 13 May 2023 10am – 2pm – St Philomena’s P & F have been asked to convene a stall at Moree on a Plate in the Kids Corner. This is a great fundraiser for our school and requires very little time. We will be selling hot chips, hot dogs and fairy floss on the day and will require parent helpers to assist with setting up, packing up and service on the day. If you are able to assist please contact the school and they will provide your details to the committee members. It would be really good to see both new and old parents assist on the stall.
Mid-Term Movie Night – A Movie Night for Primary and Secondary has been set for Friday, 26 May 2023 commencing at 5:30pm. The P & F will have hot chips, hot dogs, popcorn and drinks available for purchase and would welcome assistance from the Parent Community to cook and serve. More information on the Movies will be available in the next newsletter.
Many capital works that the P & F have been involved in are coming to fruition; the concrete has been laid on the old Tennis Courts and it is hoped that the synthetic cricket pitch and nets will be in operation for Term 3.
The next General Meeting of the St Philomena’s P & F will be held on Wednesday, 17 May 2023 all are welcome to attend and we look forward to meeting new parents.
