Mother’s Day Stall

Dear Parents and Carers,

As mentioned in the last couple of newsletters, the Parents and Friend’s Committee will be holding the annual Mother’s Day Stall this Friday 12th May. 

We ask that students from Years Prep to Two bring their money to school by this Thursday, and give it to their class teacher to hold for Friday. The price of all gifts for sale is $5.00 and students will be able to purchase two gifts. 

Again, the Parents and Friends Committee would like to invite the participation of any parents who can help at the stall. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated. 

The buying of gifts will commence at 9.00am and will be well finished by 11.00am.

At the stall we also have a fundraiser for the people of Afghanistan. One of our mums Jina, who is from Afghanistan is working hard to support the people of her country of birth. If you would like to purchase one of the bags pictured and support this worthy cause we ask that your child have $10.00 in a separate envelope for this fundraiser.

Do you eat bread?

If yes, then we need your bread bags! Simply dust out any crumbs and send the empty bread bags to school. Each grade will have a specific collection box in their classrooms to collect your bags.

Wonderbread are running a recycling rewards program where empty bread bags can be redeemed for sports equipment! Any brand of bread bag qualifies, so send them through! 

Remember, we only need bread bags, bread tags are not being collected at this point in time. Thank you for your support!
