Year 3/4–Celebrating Learning

Overview

In Term 2, students in 3/4 will participate in a music incursion from Musica Viva entitled “Walking with the Wilderness”. This connects into our Integrated Unit, Care for Country, that will look at topics of sustainability, science and learning from Indigenous ways of resource management. Classes will complete the unit at the end of the term with a visit to the Merri Creek to clean the parklands and put our learning into action.

We are also very excited to finish up the term with the 3/4 camp to Alexandra Adventure Resort! The 3/4s will be involved in a range of outdoor and indoor activities that will challenge them and strengthen their resilience and problem solving skills.

The thing I’m most looking forward to this term is…..

3/4A

June Hayden - “Camp and all the activities, plus being a cabin with all my friends!”

Marley Walsh - “Writing because I really want to write a very long story with a friend.”

Jasmine Wings - “Camp, because I’m excited for cabins and activities.”

Leo Coup - “Going on camp because it’s going to be lots of fun!”

3/4B

Naia Nicholson - “PE and getting to try new sports.”

Phoenix Toll - “Making clay in art and going to camp for the first time.”

Mariana Porras-Canon - “Getting better at writing.”

Wolfie Divitaris - “Everything! But especially playing with friends.”

3/4C

Elodie Allen - “Writing a persuasive text to the councillor.”

Hector Plowman - “Reading and learning new vocabulary.”

Polly O’Brien - “Writing stories about cats. ”Wanda Johnson - “Camp and doing fun new activities!”
