Good Friday Stations of the Cross

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the students who participated in Our Stations of the Cross prayer on Good Friday and to all of the families who attended.  Your presence and devotion made this event a truly inspiring and meaningful experience.  It was heartening to see members of our school and parish community come together to reflect on the passion and sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your commitment to living out our faith is an embodiment of the true spirit of Easter.

Once again thank you for your active participation and wishing you all a blessed Easter season.

A Special Mother’s Day Prayer Service For Those Grieving the Loss of a Mother or Mother Figure

As we approach Mother's Day, we feel that it is important to take a moment to recognise that this can be a difficult time for those who have lost a mother or mother figure. If you are one of those people, we would like to invite you to a special prayer service in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel at St Patrick’s Church.

Our prayer service will take place on Friday, 12 May at 2pm, while your children are at school, so that you can take some time for yourself. During our time together, we will remember and honour the women who have shaped our lives and influenced us in countless ways. We will offer prayers for those who are grieving and seek comfort and hope in this challenging time.

As a school and parish community we understand that Mother's Day can be a painful reminder of loss, and we want to support you in any way we can. You are welcome to invite family and friends to join us at this service, and we hope it will bring you some measure of peace and comfort.

Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, and we are here to support you in any way we can. If you have any questions or concerns about the service or other ways we can support you, please do not hesitate to reach out.

I look forward to joining together in prayer as we honour the mothers and mother figures who have touched our lives.

WALK SAFELY TO SCHOOL

ACTIVE KIDS ARE HEALTHY KIDS

Attention all students and parents!

Get ready to take important steps towards a healthier future by participating in National Walk Safely to School Day on Friday 19 May 2023. This community initiative is designed to raise awareness of the numerous health, road safety, transport and environmental benefits that regular walking can provide for our children.

Now in its 24th year, National Walk Safely to School Day encourages parents and teachers to teach road safety skills and support the importance of regular walking, not just on the designated day, but every day.

To incentivise our students to walk to school, or at least park the car and walk the last five minutes, we will reward them with stickers and fruit on arrival. So, gather your classmates, friends and family and join in the fun!

Let's all take steps towards a healthier, safer future and a vastly reduced number of cars using the turning circle on Friday, 19 May!!

Happy walking!

Have a wonderful week
