Year One News

What’s happening in our check-ins? 

This week we have begun ‘Chat Time’, where students have the opportunity to freely talk to their friends for the first ten minutes every day. The students are enjoying the chance to ask their friends about what they have been getting up to, talking about their toys and books, and organising FaceTime catch-ups after school hours. 

We have also been having fun playing class games like Mystery Bag, Thumbs Up or Down and Go Noodle.

The students have been participating in Show and Tell, where they have shared their favourite narrative. They did a wonderful job describing their favourite character using a variety of adjectives! They asked well thought out questions and made positive comments. The Year One teachers are exceptionally proud of the effort, respect and kindness that they are showing in their Meets.
