- Senior Ensemble: Monday in the Sarto Centre 3.30 pm - 4.30 pm.
- Intermediate Ensemble (Years 7 & 8): Thursday in the Sarto Centre from 3.20 pm - 4.20 pm.

Welcome back to term 3 of a very unusual year. Firstly as previously announced last term we will resume choir rehearsals immediately. NSW Health have announced that choirs are safe but I will be setting up some hygiene regimes, hand sanitising etc.
Twilight Concert Thursday September 3
At the start of the holidays, I was optimistic that I could have run a “normal” Twilight Concert in Term 3 with some audience allowed. Unfortunately as the holidays progressed and we return to Term 3 the situation has changed. My intention is to aim for the date in the calendar listed for the concert but to record video performances. The idea is to hold these performances in the band room directly after school. Mr Couani has given the go ahead for this and I will be negotiating with Mr Stearn regarding sport.
We have recorded some video already and the idea is that footage from the afternoon and other times will be put together then released on the Vimeo format the next day. An email will be sent to confirm this. There will also be footage of our presentation to the Year 12’s of their pen and certificate for their service to the Performing Arts. I hope to feature Year 12 as much as possible.
Further to this new concert format, students will be able to leave as soon as they finish. This is in line with the school's desire not to have students “hanging around” school. We will have a waiting area for students and of course no audience. There will be no food provided but students can bring their own snack if they like. The canteen will not be available.
I’d like to acknowledge the patience and support that you the parents have shown this year and I hope that we can all gather together soon for a celebration of Performing Arts but we will just have to wait.
