From the Principal

Dear Parents and Guardians

I trust your child enjoyed the virtual athletics day today.  A huge thank you to Richard Price and Jenny McCausland  who organised the event.  It was great that the weather was kind to us. Parents and Guardians, I hope you also attempted some of the events!!!!!  I have now realised I am not as young as I thought. The vertical jump wasn't very high.

Yr 6 Graduation

It is anticipated that this years Yr 6 graduation might look very different from previous years. In preparation I would like to ask any parents interested in being on the committee to email me so that I can then organise a time (zoom) to meet . Please email me by Friday 28th August at bgrace@sbedesbn.catholic.edu.au

100 days of Foundation

A big congratulations to our Foundation/Prep children who next week will celebrate their 100 days at school. I know their teachers have some fun and interesting activities planned. It has been an extremely unusual and challenging time for the children in Foundation this year however the way they have adapted to remote learning  with the assistance of the adults around them has been amazing. I can't wait to see the pictures next week.

Permitted students at school.

The following information was provided to catholic schools this morning regarding students who can attend school during Stage 4. There was some uncertainty as to whether both parents needed to be permitted workers. I hope the following clarifies this.

Where there are two parents/ carers, both must be permitted workers, working outside the home in order for their children to be eligible for on-site provision.

For single parents/ carers, the permitted worker must be working outside the home in order for their children to be eligible for on- site provision.

Have a great week

Brian
