STUDENTS WITH LEARNER'S PERMITS

As we head into the wet weather, this is a timely reminder about Sacred Heart regulations for students with Learner’s Permits. To ensure the safety of students, staff, parents and visitors, the College asks that students with Learner’s Permits DO NOT drive within the College grounds.

We ask that parents choosing to supervise their child whilst driving to the College, make arrangements to switch drivers before entering close proximity of the College grounds. Parents supervising their children driving home from school are asked to make arrangements to switch drivers after leaving the proximity of the College grounds. Viable suggested areas for this to occur include Seacrest Park or the Sorrento Beach carpark.

STUDENTS WHO RIDE E-SCOOTERS

Parents of children who ride e-scooters to school are encouraged to complete the e-scooter parent permission form (below) and have a conversation with their child to ensure they are fully aware of the road rules and the imminent dangers of riding irresponsibly or without a helmet. The College continues to have concerned road users contact us with genuine safety concerns about Sacred Heart students riding e-scooters so your support in this regard is crucial.

Thank you for your cooperation.
