A message from our School Captains

We are very excited to say that we now have some more shade in the playground! This means that we can learn outside and be safer from COVID. It will also be a great way to stay cool in the summer when we are enjoying time outside!

Thank you to everyone who helped organise, work and donated to the Election Day sausage and cake sale. Approximately $2000 dollars was raised for the school!

Have a great day,

Tess & Darcy

A message from our Sports Captains

This term the 3/4s and 5/6s have been doing a lot of sport. A couple of weeks ago we did Cross-Country and everyone had a great time and  tried their best.

Sadly, the 5/6s who were selected to go to Cross-Country districts won't be able to go this year because they will be away on school camp.

A message from our Learning Leaders

Hello everyone, just a short reminder that the Drama Club is not going to be active next week because of camp, but week 7 - Tuesday will bring new opportunities and fun. Hope to see you there.

Sincerely

A message from our STEAM Leaders

For the last term, Years 3, 4, 5 and 6s did STEAM CLUB.  Year 3/4s did Paint 3D; their pictures were very creative. Year 5/6s did Minecraft Education Edition 2 times! They did very good work exploring the blocky world! Year 1 and 2 had a lot of fun also exploring Minecraft too.

Interschool Sport 2

In Term Two, the Year 5/6s have been participating in Interschool Sport. So far we have played against St Mary’s, East St Kilda and St Joseph's, Blackrock in football and netball.

This week we have a game against St Columba's Elwood.  In week 7 both teams will be heading to the Lightning Premiership to play against all the teams in our district.

The students have been training weekly on a Tuesday as well as learning the skills for the games in their PE lessons this term. Each week the teams are getting better and better and have had a lot of fun learning new sports.

The footy players and netballers have amazing new uniforms this week and are excited to represent their school with pride when wearing these to the games.
