From the Principal

We would like to acknowledge the original custodians of this land

and pay our respects to the Elders past and present and emerging,

for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of Indigenous Australia.

Dear Families

Sausage Sizzle! Sausage Sizzle!

I think that there may be some people who are dreaming sausages in their sleep. What a coincidence that the PFA have had to host two events one after the other. The Bunnings event was booked well before the election was announced and circumstances did not favor our volunteers for organizing these arduous events. However, the wonderful PFA Committee have worked behind the scenes for the last 4 or 5 weeks to make sure that the two fundraisers held the integrity of our school on good grounds.

Work cannot be carried out without the support of the school community so I would like to acknowledge the efforts that have been shown thus far. The committee has gained momentum in having new families show support by giving a helping hand.  As we know the more hands that are extended out the easier the work load.  If you haven't been able to help out then coming along to Bunnings Store on Warrigal Road Moorabbin and buying a sausage or two or three will show support to the team.

Victorian Government Shade Sails Grant.

The  sails have finally been installed and the students now have another  learning area that they can use during the day for any outdoor activities.

St Anthony's School is grateful to the Victorian Government for the funds granted to us so that the works could take place.

Sick Children

Please keep your children home if they have a runny nose, cough, sore throat, high temperature or are otherwise unwell, regardless of whether they have tested negative for COVID. Children with cold/flu symptoms must stay home even if they have a negative RAT.

Your assistance in this matter will help reduce the spread of viruses.

Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT)

Please contact the office if you require any RATS. Students only need to test if they have symptoms or are household contacts in order to attend school (five negative tests over a seven-day period).

Yours sincerely

Margaret Carlei
