Cross Country

Some of our students competed at Tarrington on Monday in the Inter-School Cross Country.   Thomas Hurley, Ctayah Roberts, Justin Coates, Emma Thomas, Jack Quinn, Lexi Thomas, Noah and Nate Weilbaecher, Indi Keymer-Newley and Sam Packman all represented the Cavendish PS.

Congratulations on all trying your best and finishing the course.  We had some runners finish in the top ten:-

Thomas Hurley - 2nd in the 9 year old boys

Sam Packman - 3rd in the 9 year old boys

Emma Thomas - 2nd in the 9 year old girls

Jack Quinn - 6th in the 11 year old boys

Lexi Thomas - 1st in the 11 year old girls

To be able to qualify for the Division Cross Country at Warrnambool students needed to finish the course under a certain time.  Congratulations to Lexi who has qualified in her age group and will be competing in Warrnambool next Monday. We wish her all the very best for her run.
