Cows Create Careers

Week Two – Technology

In Week Two of the Cows Create Careers program, students learnt about the technology, and technological advancements in the dairy industry. 

Students were shown 3 different videos and taught about the importance of note taking. 

Students learnt about the Herringbone Milking Shed, the Robotic Dairy and a Rotary Dairy. Students learnt about the different forms of technology that exist in each. Students explored how the health and wellbeing of dairy cows are prioritised and how technology is designed to keep the cows as stress free as possible. 

In their groups, students will be designing their own dairy.
