North Shore High Schools Music Spectacular Finals

On Saturday 14th May KHS held the North Shore High Schools Music Spectacular Finals sponsored by Chatswood RSL. In the competition, we had 7 schools performing, each with a solo Year 12 HSC student. Congratulations to Killara High School for winning the competition. We heard brilliant performances from Killara Chamber Orchestra, Year 12 HSC Music 2 student Clive G and Stage Band 1. Well done to all students who participated in Saturday's event.

PAE Welcome Concert

On Monday 9th May our Year 7 & 8 Music Ensembles had their first performance of the year. Concert Band 1, Junior Strings, Vocal Ensemble and Guitar Ensemble performed at KHS in the Kerrabee Theatre to an excited audience full of parents and friends. It was so good to see our ensembles performing again.

Vocal Ensemble Excursion

Vocal Ensemble participated in our first rehearsal for The Arts Unit In Concert event at the Sydney Opera House in Term 3. We spent the day learning new repertoire and singing with multiple other schools. We look forward to our next rehearsal next term.

Dance

Congratulations to Dance 1 and Dance 2 for successfully auditioning for the Sydney North Dance Festival happening in Week 9/10. We look forward to seeing their performances on stage at Glen Street Theatre.
