DreamCity - Foundation

Last Thursday the Foundation Team had a fantastic day at DreamCity. Everyone was very excited about catching the bus and driving to the city. Students explored a range of careers in a 'real-life' setting. They rotated through four activities with a DreamCity experienced educator. They explored what it would be like to be a pilot, neonatal nurse, firefighter and news reporter. We will now be linking the experience back into the classroom with our opinion writing, recount writing and our Humanities topic 'My Community'.

Police Academy

The Year 2s had a wonderful excursion to the Police Academy last Friday! Students had the opportunity to be interviewed by a Detective about our Magician incursion. We were also lucky enough to meet two of the police horses and to practice some marching on the parade ground. We were entertained by the youth officers with games, colouring and a movie throughout the day.

Vegie Garden

Bunnings once again will be supplying the Garden Club with winter vegies. Our team of Year 6 diggers have prepared the vegie patches in anticipation for our planting day next week.
