Principal's Report

Another great week at ACPS!

We started the week with all the staff collaborating, moderating and working through data in preparation for writing Reports.  It was a really useful day with  lots of great educational discussions amongst staff.

GRADE 3/4 CAMP: June 8-10

Its getting exciting now!

Hopefully the penguins are getting their winter woolies on as we prepare to head to Phillip Island with our winter woolies!

I always look forward to taking our students on camp - they love being in the different environment and experiencing life with their friends for a few days.

NUDE FOOD EVERY WEDNESDAY. Please try to bring lunch with only reusable containers each Wednesday. Nude Food is good for your health and the environment and helps keep our playground beautiful. Classes will compete against each other for the 'Rubbish free Lunch' trophy which will be awarded at Assembly each week.

Have you seen it yet?

Our ACPS SCULPTURE at The Pines: ( near Boost)

I popped into The Pines this morning - our exhibit for World Environment Day looks fantastic.

Make sure you go and have a look at it and vote for our school (the school with the most votes win s$1000).

Many thanks to Julie Botham-Clarke and Sarah Bailey, the Arts Captains and the Green Thumbs for their work putting our sculpture together.

Lets see who can be spotted at our Exhibit.

Take a photo and send it to ACPS if you'd like to go in the Newsletter.

Here is our first visitor - Finn

EDUCATION WEEK

Hats off to all our staff for getting into the spirit of Education Week and making our Maths Night so much fun! Congratulations to those students who took home a prize! Thanks to everyone for participating so enthusiastically.

SCHOOL DISCO

We will be sending out more information in the next few days but please save the date for our next school disco on the evening of Tuesday June 21. We have booked an exciting new DJ and are looking forward to an evening of music, dancing and lots of fun for our students.

KILOMETRE CLUB continues: even though its getting cooler, a lap or two around the oval is a great way to start the day. Every day 8.45am.

Remember to speak to everyone with respect and kindness.

Take care
