Welcome to our community 

In this edition we continue to feature staff who have joined our college community in 2022.  Today we introduce you to Information Technology Trainee Zachary Henningsen, Learning Support Officer Abe Lake and Learning Support Trainee Molly Talbot.

Zachary Henningsen

Hi everyone, my name is Zachary Henningsen, or just Zac for short. I am an IT trainee, working with ICT Administrator Jamie Hatch. I was studying my Certificate 3 in IT at TAFE for two years, but then I decided to do a traineeship. I just finished doing VCAL at Wanganui Park Secondary College, now known as Greater Shepparton Secondary College. I enjoy playing video games. I also really enjoy learning new things to improve my IT skills. I love working at St Anne’s because there is so much I can learn and so much more I can share with the students, and all the staff are so welcoming to new people like me.

Abe Lake

Hi, my name is Abe and I started working at St Anne’s two weeks ago as a Learning Support Officer. I have been made feel very welcome and am really enjoying getting to know all the students and staff. I have previously worked in education at Greater Shepparton Secondary College, where I completed a year as a trainee and continued as a student support member. I graduated from Wanganui Park Secondary College in 2019. I am a Shepparton local and love my sport. I play cricket for Shepparton Youth Club United CC and football at Congupna FNC. I am excited to be part of the the team at St Anne’s College.

Molly Talbot

Hi, my name is Molly Talbot. I am a Learning Support Trainee in the School of Wonder this year. I completed Year 12 last year at Notre Dame College. I work in Foundation RH. I love working with the Foundation children in Ros's class. I enjoy interacting and helping the children learn. I thought I might study Exercise Physiology, but now I am unsure. I am looking forward to completing my Certificate 3 in Education Support at St Anne's. 

Congratulations to our graduates

Huge congratulations to our School of Wonder staff who celebrated their graduation this week after achieving their Bachelor of Early Childhood and Primary Education degree with La Trobe University. Year 3 Learning Mentor Nikea Grinter, Year 1 Learning Mentor Melissa Kemp and Casual Relief Teacher Nadia Mori were among more than 80 La Trobe University Shepparton students who celebrated their graduation at Riverlinks Eastbank Centre with their families and supporters on Monday. Well done ladies and kudos for achieving your degree during a pandemic!
