Parish News

St Mel’s Parish is a welcoming and caring community that helps all people grow stronger in our Catholic faith!

St Mel’s Parish Prayer

God our Father,

Bless our Parish so that we may love you more.  Encircle our families with your loving care.  Help parents to be good examples to their children and our youth to grow in strength as good Christians. To the sick, grant health. To the aged, bring serenity and to those in sorrow, joy. May we grow stronger in faith and may our love for one another become deeper in our daily living.

Amen

Volunteers needed to assist at Mass

At St Mel's Parish, we are planning our new Mass roster for commentators, readers and Eucharistic ministers. We would like to include more volunteers, especially at our 5:00pm Mass.

If you are interested and willing to support these ministries, please email the parish office at sheppartonsouth@cdos.org.au or call the office on (03) 5831 2194 as soon as possible to be included in our next roster starting on July 3.

Thank you to those who are already in our roster volunteering in these ministries.

Join us in farewelling Debbie

This Sunday at 9:30am Mass, St Mel's Parish will farewell Debbie and thank her, with a presentation and gift, for her years of dedication working in the Parish office. A light morning tea will be offered in the Narthex after the conclusion of Mass. All welcome.
