I am very excited to say that National Simultaneous Storytime is on this Wednesday 19th May. This annual event is where the same book is read to children all over Australia at the same time. This year’s Australian author is Philip Bunting, and the book is Give Me Some Space.

Traditionally, our teachers would read the book to the students, however, this year there is something extra special planned. 

ALIA (Australian Library and Information Association), Scholastic, the Australian Space Agency and the Office of the Chief Scientist have joined together for an intergalactic experience.  The NSS 2021 book will be read by 

Astronaut Dr Shannon Walker from the International Space Station.

I am sure the students will enjoy this very entertaining book reading.
