Emmanuel College

In very exciting news, after a year away last year, the College musical production returns in 2021. This year’s performance will be the renowned stage musical – Godspell. Our students and staff are preparing for auditions and getting ready to start rehearsals. Look out for opportunities to come and see the production in May this year. Most of our primary schools come long and see a matinee performance and we are feeling very positive about his again being an opportunity this year. We wish all students involved in auditions the best of luck – we won’t say ‘break a leg!!’

As we work our way to the end of the term, it has be terrific to reflect on the way that students, teachers and families have worked together to get back into the routine of school life.  There has been plenty achieved this term, from camps and retreats, to parent presentations of school work and pastoral care initiatives. We have had the Amazing Race and the G.I.R.L Crew activities with our wonderful partners – Our Patch – leading and innovative OSHC providers.

Last week we welcomed our students and parents involved in the Year 11 Nexus Mentoring Program to an information night where they heard from students involved in the program last year and from mentors. The program has grown from 14 students in 2020 to more that 60 in 2021.

We would like to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Easter break and well-deserved school holidays and we look forward to working with our feeder schools and families again in Term 2.

Lastly, just a reminder that applications are now being accepted for Year 7, 2023 and they close on 20 August this year.
