Parents & Friends Association

Term 1 has certainly flown by and I can’t believe it’s time to look forward to Term 2!

Today the children and teachers were able to gather with their loved ones on our school oval to re-enact the Stations of the Cross, it is so great to be able to see our families being able to enjoy these times with our children again.  Our children also were able to enjoy Hot Cross Buns upon return to their classrooms.  Thank you to all of the parents who volunteered their time to help us prepare the buns, your time is greatly appreciated.

I would also like to thank those families who have joined in the Footy Tipping Competition and wish you all good luck!  The top 3 families at this stage are:

Well done!

The annual Mother’s Day stall will be held on Wednesday 5th May. Talking from experience as a parent, this day has always been one of the highlights over the years for myself. I have always enjoyed watching how carefully and thoughtfully each child chooses a gift for their mum or someone special.  We would love to have as many volunteers as possible to make this occasion a wonderful experience for the children. A volunteer request will be go out shortly after Term 2 commences.

We will also be having a Mother’s Day Card Making workshop on Monday 2nd May at 7pm at QOP for anyone who would like to join the fun in making cards.  These will be sold at the Mother’s Day Stall for $1.  A note will be forwarded via Operoo closer to the time to ensure we have enough stock.

The P&F would like to take this opportunity to wish all parents/carers and families a very happy and safe Easter.
