Harmony Day Success!

What an amazingly fun day celebrating our diversity at QoP!

It was so lovely to see the numerous family members attending the whole school parade and classroom activity. To see all of the happy, smiling and laughing children lined up around the oval, really brought home just how long it's been since we were all together. 

A big THANK YOU  to each and every single Year 6 student who for 2 hours, ran workshops for three different levels, teaching them about another culture. The children loved it, the teachers were blown away and the day could not have happened the way it did without these SUPERSTARS! THANK YOU Year 6!

A big shout out to the three brave mums; Vanessa, Helena and Allie who also passed on knowledge to classes about their culture. Your time and preparation is much appreciated.

And to finish off the day, the children were entertained by our very own school choir! The choir's rendition of 'Absolutely Everybody' and 'Celebration' had the roof rocking, the kids clapping and left everyone with such a positive vibe.

Thank you to everyone who made an effort to find something orange, wear a cultural costume or proudly wear something to identify your heritage!
