Around Foundation (Prep)

It is 62 days at school for Foundation students today! We are delighted with the progress the children have made in this relatively short period of time.

As a part of our Inquiry unit, Staying Alive, students in Prep have been learning about bones. We have shared books and had class discussions about our findings. Children had a lot of fun making a skeleton and then writing about the facts in a short information text.

In Maths, the children have been exploring addition using a wide range of concrete materials. They have been encouraged to record and talk about how they solved their problems.
