Science

In Year 8 Science this term, students investigated chemical reactions focusing on what happens in the kitchen. Ms Eunize Mallari and Chef John Riviera ran cooking demonstrations, where students were able to do some inquiry-based learning plus get some real-life experience making pancakes. It was a brilliant way to get the students engaged in their learning.

The Rite Journey - Year 9

As part of The Rite Journey, students undertook a trust exercise as part of our friendship/relationship unit and the importance of trust and loyalty in those relationships. The students had fun, guiding each other around campus, taking turns to be the leader and the blindfolded follower. The students were responsible and gained their partner's trust with their maturity.

Special congratulations to Evren M Year 9 who competed in the State Finals in the 200 metre individual medley coming 4th and in the process, smashing his PB by 5 seconds!
