Mr Bernard Batchelor - Year 12 Coordinator

Congratulations to our Year 12 Class of 2016 who the week before last narrowly defeated Mercy College in their annual netball match in what some are calling the “upset of the Century”. In an away game that saw ankle injuries to some of our star 1st XV Rugby team (hope you are recovering well Clay Henry after this and your district Grand Final). It was a great example of resilience in overcoming adversity. As our Year 12 commence their final weeks at the College prior to the HSC they continue to demonstrate a level of composure which is a credit to them under the calm leadership of Mr Bachelor. We encourage them to continue to set the standard in leading the school in this responsible manner which will support them through the study rigours of the HSC.

Another example of this was the highly successful 2016 – 2017 Prefect handover conducted last Thursday at lunchtime prior to the Winter Sports Colour awards at which our Prefect Leaders again rose to the occasion to assist the new 2017 Student Leadership Team in formulating goals and plans for their tenure as Leaders of the College over the next exciting 12 months.
