Fundraiser BBQ

A fundraising BBQ was held on Thursday Lunchtime to support Marty and Janine O'Callaghan who will be riding around Tasmania later this month as part of a group of more than 300 people from around NSW and the ACT in their efforts to raise important funds for support of the Black Dog Ride. Many thanks to Marty and Janine for bringing in their bikes as a means of promoting their charity, and also to Tanika O'Callaghan in Year 11 who initiated the fundraising activity, and for those fellow Year 10 and 11 students who assisted with the preparation and sale of sausages and drinks. Thanks to all staff and students who supported the BBQ, which raised over $400 towards the charity, which this year has a focus on supporting members of the Defence Forces and Emergency Services. We wish Marty and Janine all the best for the ride, which will be held between October 30 and November 6.
