L’ Angolo Italiano…
Settimana 4
Over the last two weeks, senior students worked on reflecting, revising and discussing our school values and how to imbed them in their school lives.
We learnt how to say them in Italian (RESPONSABILITA', ONESTA', RISPETTO, OTTIMISMO) as well as in Auslan, which is the Australian Sign Language.
In Italian, we say " DARCI UNA MANO" which mean " giving each other a hand", i.e. helping and supporting each other when times are tricky and collaboration is paramount.
Inspired by this idiomatic expression, students from Grade 3-6 have created collaborative artworks in the Italian room, displaying their colourful "helping hands".
Great work, bravi!
