Last Thursday, our Year 10 Science class (Ms Stocks) were invited to join in the ‘Meet a Scientist’ Webinar. It was great seeing the women happy and proud to be scientists, loving what they are doing in their field of science and talking about how balancing their work and their children is the easiest it has ever been. They were so interesting to listen to. I was so intrigued. 

One thing I remember the most from the webinar was Dr Amanda Kwong showing the team that she works with and how they were all females.  It truly made me proud to be a female. I thoroughly enjoyed the webinar and l would love to listen to more women in science stories.

Recently I had the opportunity to watch the "Meet the Scientist" webinar. This incredibly insightful experience opened my eyes to the endless possibilities accessible to women in STEM and the amazing impact we can have each and every day on our communities.
