Bonjour tout le monde!

This week, all the students are continuing the topics that were mentioned in our last Nokuna. Therefore, today's page is more cultural.

• Here is a short video about the château (castle) de Fougères, in my home region of Bretagne:

• The French song of the week is Voilà ('here it is') by Barbara Pravi. This song will represent France at the Eurovision contest on 22 May.

• The French Film Festival is on, with lots of great French movies showing at the Palace Cinemas until the end of the month. Here is the link to the sessions: https://www.affrenchfilmfestival.org/schedule/melbourne

If you are interested in seeing a new French movie with your child,  I particularly recommend  'Poly' which is showing this Sunday, March 21st, at the Palace Balwyn at 3:30pm. Keep in mind that the movie will be in French, with English subtitles. Therefore, it is only suitable if your child can read subtitles, which is something we practice in class from Year 3.
