Upcoming Learning:

During the next fortnight, students will be undertaking learning in the following areas:

Subject	Learning Focus
Reading	To understand that dialogue is important to a story’s development. To understand information can be found in a comic strip.
Writing	To understand how to correctly include dialogue in my narratives. To include the correct features in my narrative writing. To produce an interesting narrative with a clear meaning/moral.
Maths	To connect fractions and decimal numbers. To place fractions on a number line.
Inquiry (Health)	To understand that advertising can influence my choices.
Social & Emotional Learning	To develop a deeper understanding of respect.

News and Reminders:

Reading is expected every night, and to be recorded by the students in their student diaries. Parents/ Guardians are asked to sign at the end of each week.
Diaries are to be brought into school each day.
Hats are to be worn during all of Term 1.

Students in Grade 4 - 6 had a great morning on Friday the 10th of March at our Cross Country event. Well done to all of our Grade 4's for trying their best and supporting their peers. It was great to see so many students dressed in their house colours.

Celebration of Learning:
