PRINCIPALS MESSAGE
Dear parents and carers,
The end of term is approaching with next Thursday 6th April the last day of term one. A reminder that school finishes half an hour earlier at 2:30pm. Buses will also depart at this earlier time.
At the last School Council meeting our School Values and Philosophy Statement was highlighted with our updated policy. It reinforces our commitment to our agreed vision and mission;
- VISION: To be an outstanding provider of inclusive education that provides individuality, fosters innovative practice and sets high expectations for all.
- MISSION: To create a safe, respectful, evidence-based learning environment where a diversity of student learners feel: valued, actively engaged, challenged and supported to achieve success and maximum independence post-school.
School Events
Across the term we have had a number of special events including a Harmony Day Celebration, Student Leaders Presentation, Earth Hour activities and next Thursday an Easter Hat Parade for our Primary students. Tonight we will be holding our Family Picnic Night from 3:00 – 5:00pm, weather dependent. We hope you can come along and meet other school families. BYO food and drink.
Student Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Our teachers have been finalising student 2023 IEPS as initially discussed at term one Student Support Group meetings with parents and carers. They will be shared electronically with families on the last day of term. Please let teachers know if you would like a hardcopy.

Ticket sales for our Easter Raffle have been terrific again this year with great prizes to win. Thank-you to everyone for your support and to Diana Duffy for organising the Easter baskets. The raffle will drawn at 2:30pm Tuesday 4th April. So hurry if you have not purchased any tickets yet. Our School Council Fundraising Committee is planning a Trivia Night in term two. We will be seeking prize donations to support the night. More details to come.
