Visual Art Dedication Presentation

During the Dedication Service on Friday 10th March students across all year levels presented the following, while their artwork played on the screen:

In the beginning God created.

Before we started creating in Art this year we stopped to think about God’s marvellous creation.

We are thankful that we can all create, make, design and invent.

These are our pictures of things we love about the world God made.

They are from most of the children, in every class Prep to 5/6.

Our pictures are all very different and we like that, because each of us is also very different.

We love the variety in our world, there are pictures of galaxies, beaches, mountains, sunsets, animals, flowers, people and so much more.

Psalm 19:1 “The heavens declare the glory of God, the skies proclaim the work of His hands”

Psalm 148:3 – 5 “Praise Him sun and moon, praise Him all you shining stars! Praise Him, you highest heavens and you waters above the heavens. Let them praise the name of the Lord! For he commanded and they were created”

God gave everything for us and created this beautiful world for us to enjoy. Let’s go DCS and give our best this year. Ecclesiastes 9:10 says “Whatever you find to do with your hands, do it with all your might“
