E-BOOK AND AUDIOBOOK ACCESS
Last term the Library trialled a new eBook and eAudio book platform ePlatform by Wheelers. EPlatform by Wheelers is a very user friendly platform that is being used by many school libraries in Australia. Both eBooks and eAudio Books are accessible via apps for mobile phones, iPads and web browser mode on laptop or desktop devices.
We are happy to announce that the trial proved to be a success with many staff and students. As a result, we have subscribed to this platform for the rest of the year and during 2020. Students and staff will be able to borrow ebooks and audio books that they can download and listen to on their phones and other digital devices.
Students can sign in using their student email address as their username.
They can access the password from library staff or on their Compass news feed.

The Testaments
by Margaret Atwood F ATW
When the van door slammed on Offred’s future at the end of The Handmaid’s Tale, readers had no way of telling what lay ahead.
With The Testaments, the wait is over.
Margaret Atwood’s sequel picks up the story 15 years after Offred stepped into the unknown, with the explosive testaments of three female narrators from Gilead.

Tim & Tigon
By Tim Cope TS COP
Adventurer Tim Cope had a childhood dream: to travel the 10,000 kilometres from Mongolia to Hungary on horseback - a journey undertaken centuries ago by the legendary leader of the Mongols, Genghis Khan. On this journey, Tim met a dog called Tigon.
For more than three years, Tim and Tigon endured searing heat and bitter cold; dark lonely nights when wolves circled their camp; hunger; despair; joy; and the wild beauty of the landscape that changed constantly around them. They met the people of the steppe, who welcomed Tim and Tigon into their homes, and shared their traditions and histories.
This is the story of a unique journey - a journey filled with the spirit of the pioneering explorers of old. It is the story of an extraordinary friendship.
Guts
Raina wakes up one night with a terrible upset stomach. Her mom has one, too, so it’s probably just a bug. Raina eventually returns to school, where she’s dealing with the usual highs and lows: friends, not-friends, and classmates who think the school year is just one long gross-out session.
It soon becomes clear that Raina’s tummy trouble isn’t going away… and it coincides with her worries about food, school, and changing friendships. What’s going on?
Raina Telgemeier once again brings us a thoughtful, charming, and funny true story about growing up and gathering the courage to face and conquer your fears
Batman: The Killing Joke
Batman- The Killing Joke is Alan Moore’s unforgettable meditation on the razor-thin line between sanity and insanity, heroism and villainy, comedy and tragedy. One bad day is all it takes according to the grinning engine of madness and mayhem known as the Joker, that’s all that separates the sane from the psychotic.
Jack Charles: Born-again Blakfella
By Jack Charles
Stolen from his mother and placed into institutional care when he was only a few months old, Uncle Jack was raised under the government’s White Australia Policy. The loneliness and isolation he experienced during those years had a devastating impact on him that endured long after he reconnected with his Aboriginal roots and discovered his stolen identity. By turns heartbreaking and hilarious, Jack Charles: Born-again Blakfella is a candid and uplifting memoir from one of Australia’s finest and most beloved actors.
