Tertiary Information Session

YEAR 12 VCE AND VCAL TERTIARY INFORMATION SESSION- EXCURSION TO LATROBE UNIVERSITY-TUESDAY 21st MAY Periods 4-6

All Year 12 VCE and VCAL students will be attending a Tertiary Information Session at La Trobe University on Tuesday 21st May during periods 4 to 6. It is a unique opportunity for students to collect information about tertiary courses for 2020 in the one place as all Universities and TAFE Institutes will be in attendance at La Trobe University on this day. Students will travel by bus after period 3 and return by 3.10.

There will be a general information session where students will learn about post school options and how to apply for courses for next year. They will then have the chance to collect the latest course information for 2020 and speak to the tertiary representatives. The cost for the excursion is $7 to cover the bus and payment and consent can be made through COMPASS by 16th May.

This is a valuable experience for all Year 12 students as it will motivate and encourage them to start planning for post year 12 options. The Careers/Pathways Team will work closely with all Year 12 students in Term 3 to guide them through the application process and to provide them with options for next year.
