Congratulations to Year 9

Congratulations to all the Year 9 students who so brilliantly conquered the challenges of their camping experiences.  I'm sure you'll enjoy reading about them in this newsletter.  Thank you to our amazing staff who took time out of their lives to provide these experiences for students.

Library displays

Our Library staff are always ahead of the game with amazing displays that relate to the different times of year or what is happening in the world.  They just seem to appear out of nowhere, provoke great thought, and then disappear!  I wanted to share Remeberance Day's display with you.

New Principal announced for Wantirna

Dr Joanne Challinor-Rogers, College Council President, has announced the new Principal of the College, after an extensive search.  It is Mr Kevin Murphy.  Mr Murphy is currently at Elizabeth Murdoch College, a large school in Langwarrin.  We wish him well in his coming years at the school.

Final Assembly for students

Students this week will be taking part in End of Year activities.  There will be a final assembly on Thursday afternoon and students will be dismissed at 2.30pm.  There will be one more newsletter this term. I will be in a position to announce the Year 12 results for 2017 at that time, including the Dux, who received an ATAR score of 98.7!
