2017 Victorian All Schools Track & Field Championships

Over the Melbourne Cup long weekend, four students from Wantirna College competed in the Victorian All Schools Track and Field championships, which is a three-day long championship for high school students from all educational sectors, including state schools, independent schools and catholic school.

We had some outstanding results over the weekend, with 5 podium finishes including one first and four thirds.

Congratulations to Chloe Karagiorgos who finished in first place in the U16 girls 3000m race walk. Chloe automatically qualifies for the state team and will compete later this year in Adelaide, representing Victoria in the U16 Girls 3000m race walk. We wish her the best of luck!
