Reminder: arriving late/leaving early

Students who arrive after their first class begins or leave before their last class finishes need to sign in/out through the office. 

It is preferable not to make external appointments for your child during the day but we do recognise that this is sometimes unavoidable. The School requires parental permission for students in Years 7-10 to sign themselves out. This can be done by direct Compass entry via the parent portal, by emailing judy.o'donnell@preshil.vic.edu.au or by phoning 9817 6135 and leaving a message on the Absence Line.

Lunch orders

Our online lunch provider, Classroom Cuisine, creates and delivers (to the front office) healthy and affordable school lunches. Available through the week, except Tuesdays, you can order online up until 8.30am on the day the lunch is required. A TWO COURSE lunch costs $8.95 and a THREE COURSE lunch costs $10.35.

A tranquil corner

On Monday 22 July some of us gathered to remember Mary-Ann Metcalf – educator, colleague, friend – who died suddenly 12 months ago.

To commemorate Mary-Ann, the School has purchased an elegant teak garden seat which is situated in the Blackhall courtyard facing the windows through to what was her office for almost 30 years.

This little bench, in a tranquil corner, is a sanctuary for conversation, relaxation or quiet contemplation amidst the hustle and bustle of a busy campus; as the warmer weather approaches, an ideal spot to enjoy the breeze and surrounding greenery and chat to the students as they pass by. We think she would approve.

We are looking for help with collating packs for our upcoming Open Morning. Morning tea will be provided... and you'll be in good company with great conversation.
