Hamilton Eisteddfod

The Hamilton Eisteddfod commences Monday 4th June running through until Saturday 9th June.  The Dance section commences Monday 11th June and runs through until Sunday 17th June.  Full programs are now available and students are asked to check their entries and performance day and time.  Attached is the Eisteddfod Music Running sheet with College ensemble performance times.  College Ensemble entrants are highlighted.  All sections are held at the Hamilton Performing Arts Centre in Brown Street.

2018 Sections to Note:

• Wednesday afternoon – String Orchestra, Concert Band and Percussion ensembles.
• Wednesday evening – Jazz Combo. Student arrival at 6:30pm for 7pm start.
• Thursday morning – Primary School Choirs
• Thursday afternoon – Year 5 Multi Instrumental Ensemble
• Thursday evening – All Senior School Choirs.  Student arrival at 6:30pm for 7pm start.
• Friday afternoon – String Quartets and Trios Student arrival at 1pm for 1:30pm start.

Singers Soiree

A Soiree showcasing performances from singing students of the College will be held on Monday afternoon in the Simons Auditorium commencing at 3:45pm.  Joseph Beckitt will be in residence as our accompanist for the afternoon, offering all our students an opportunity to rehearse and perform in our fine hall.  All are welcome to attend and we look forward to what is always a rewarding concert.
