Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge:

Wow – how good are we as a reading community? The Early Learning Centre, whose statistics go into a different space to the school aged students, are doing another wonderful job this year. Grade 1 has the best overall set of numbers now that we have added the books that have been covered in class time to their lists. We also have a second student registered twice: congratulations to Rhiognach McClure: 100 and 22 at time of writing. We also have some steadily performing Year 7 students, which is fantastic.

It is not too late to add books – the Challenge does not close until later in Term 3.

Academic Assistance:

Just a reminder that we offer learning support for students after school from 3.45 until 5.45 Monday – Thursday. Next Thursday, the 7th of June, this will not occur due to Friday and Monday being holidays for students (and a very busy time for their teachers).

National Simultaneous Story Time – We’re Being Profiled!

Softlink, who provide us with our Library operating system (Oliver and Orbit) want to publish a blog post about our activities last week. Once it is online I will share the link – our photographs from the day reflect the shared enjoyment at all the venues we ran a session of reading.
