Grade 6 Applications

Update

Due the the unique circumstance of this term the date for secondary school preferences has been extended by two weeks to May 29.  This process is facilitated by the Primary School and forms should be submitted to them.

We feel for families of grade 6 students having to make significant decisions about their child's secondary schooling under these conditions.  Social distancing rules mean schools cannot offer tours or run information sessions in person however we are offering virtual tours and online information sessions to assist parents in making informed decisions.  We have run two virtual tours through Facebook which have given families the chance to see the school and ask questions.  Although there were a few technical glitches with the first tour these were fixed with some post production editing.  These tours can be accessed on our Facebook page and we will be running some additional ones at a later date.

In lieu of our Discovery Night we have invited the parents from our neighborhood primary schools

• Templeton Primary School
• Wantirna Primary School
• Wantirna South Primary School

to attend a webinar on Zoom to hear from our leaders including Ms Blair (English), Ms Carolan (Maths), Ms Timms (Year 7 Transition), Mr Kruger (Middle Years and Student Well being) and Mrs Rigano (a year 7 parent).

We hope the information provided will give parents a clear idea about what a great school we have and assist them in their decision making.
