Harmony Day

To celebrate Harmony Day on Wednesday the 21st of March, we had a special dress day students were asked to wear either something orange or something to represent their family’s culture. Harmony Day is a celebration of our cultural diversity. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. Orange is the colour chosen to represent Harmony Day. Traditionally, orange signifies social communication and meaningful conversations. It also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect.

Check out the photos to see what some students wore and the activities they engaged in during Harmony Day.

We had our regular Shake and Wake dance in the morning and this was a great opportunity for everyone to show off their orange outfits or cultural dress.
