Working remotely and employability skills

After reading  Employability Skills article it appears that this cloud could have a silver lining.

Working remotely can have its benefits in terms of employability skills. For example, it encourages our students to take responsibility and manage their learning, be willing to learn in any setting, use a range of mediums to learn and being prepared to invest time and effort in learning new skills. The list goes on and on.

I’ve been impressed at the quick response of our schools, universities and training organisations in delivering online learning and information for our students.

So, my message this week is to keep connected, stay positive and hang on to those silver linings.
