Mens and Womens State Basketball League

Last weekend, the Mens and Womens State Basketball League finals commenced with St Norbert College having a strong representation. In the WSBL, Nes’eya Williams (Yr 11) and ex-student, Lori Ashworth are representing the Perth Redbacks in their first-round match up against Stirling Senators. Perth won their first game in a best-of-three series and look to advance through to the next round with another win.

In the mens, Ryan Godfrey is the captain of the Rockingham Flames who took a 1–0 advantage over the Geraldton Buccaneers. Ryan is having another strong season averaging 15pts, 3 rebounds and 3 assists per game. The Flames travel to Geraldton this weekend to hopefully close out the series.
