Year 8 Social

DANCING, FUN, FOOD AND FITNESS ALL ON WHEELS – THE PERFECT NIGHT  FOR THE NEW LOOK YEAR 8 SOCIAL.

A buzz of excitement spread around the College on Wednesday morning as the new look Year 8 Social was announced. We are going roller skating!

 

Where:                               Morley Rollerdrome,  95 Catherine St, Morley WA 6062

When:                                 Thursday 6 September from 4.00pm  to  6.00pm

                                              (Depart the College at 3.40pm and return to the College at 6.30pm)

Cost:                                   $27.00.

Guidelines:                      Neat, tidy dress suitable for rollerskating should be worn, with no excessive                                                             jewellery or make up. Long pants including jeans are recommended. Anyone                                                        wearing a skirt must wear leggings. Socks are essential for wearing the roller                                                          skates. Students will have time at the end of the day to change before boarding                                                    the bus.

Refreshments:              Nachos, drink and an ice-cream are included in the ticket price. Extra food/drinks                                                can be purchased at the venue at students' own cost. Please ensure you record                                                    dietary requirements on the MCB – Consent to Go medical form.

Transport:                       Buses from Horizons West will transport students and staff from St Norbert                                                            College and return them at 6.30pm. Parents are requested to collect their                                                                children promptly at 6.30pm from inside the Performing Arts Centre. No student                                                  will be  permitted to wait in the car park or at the front of the College.

 

Staff will be present to ensure that high standards of behaviour are maintained, and to join in the evening’s festivities. 

 

Ticket sales or collection will begin on Tuesday 14 August at lunchtimes in the Year 8 Quad. Final sales will be on  Friday 31 August 2018. Payment can be made online through MCB – Consent to Go at time of approval and tickets collected from the sales table. Your child will not be able to purchase tickets on the night. The consent approval and medical form on MCB - Consent to Go must be completed before a cash ticket purchase will be permitted. ENTRY WILL BE REFUSED TO ANY STUDENT WHO FAILS TO ATTEND SCHOOL ON THE DAY OF THE SOCIAL.

 

The SRC Year 8 representatives have worked hard to plan a great night. We are looking forward to a fun evening, with prizes, great music and a lot of fun. So Year 8s get your skates on and get a ticket.
